Teaser Tuesday #5

Tuesday is here again so it's time for antoher teaser tuesday. The rules are simple: 



  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page 
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
So here is my teaser:

The tears began to slow, and finally he just lay in my lap very still, as if the tears had emptied him of everything.

    I have yet to read the Anita Blake series, but I heard sooooo many good things about it. Enjoy reading, and great teaser.
