The view of a book addict:
The first book of a series I think I’m going to love! The main character Faythe doesn’t let anyone tell her what she should do with her life and I like that kind of heroine in a book. Although I had a little trouble getting into the book at first because of all the diffrent characters and their role in Faythe’s life, once into the story I didn’t want to stop reading.
I loved the storyline and I caught myself thinking: “just one more chapter” every time I reached the end of a chapter.
The verdict of a book addict:
So this was the first book in the shifters series and I just can’t wait to start reading the next book. If you like the Night huntress series and Anita blake ( at least the first Anita Blake novels ) you’re going to love this series.Total of Ratties:
The Shifter series by Rachel Vincent is probably my favorite UF series of all time!! Each book gets better and better! FYI, make sure you have Kleenex handy for Alpha!

ReplyDeleteI just finished Alpha today - I really didn't liek Stary very much but I'd laready bought the series so I had to hkeep reading - Glad I did because I ended up loving it! Hope you enjoy them all as well

If you enjoyed Stray you will absolutely love the rest of the books - they are oh so steamy and thrilling! And yes, Faythe is a kick ass character. I love how independent and stubborn she is - reminds me a little of myself ;)

This sounds good! 618 pages though? That's big for the first book in a series. Makes me wonder how long the others are.
