It's friday again so time to partictpate in some blog hopping fun! First of all I'm going to start with the Follow friday hosted by Parajunkee's View.
The question this week is:
Q. Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?
I know a lot of people won't agree with me but for me the worst book I've ever read is the first book in the Lord of the rings trilogy. I thought the book was really boring.
And last but not least the 18 & over tag along. The 18 & over tag along is hosted by Bitten by paranormal romance
So that's it for this week have a great weekend everyone!
Interesting choice for this week's FF! I didn;t think it was the worst book I've ever read, but I am one of those people who watched all the movies and became an LOTR movie freak before I even read the books, so when I read the first one, I was like, what the heck is going on?!? This didn't happen in the movie!! Haha. I never finished the second one.... oops!
ReplyDeleteYou can see my FF post for this week at the link below-- have a great weekend!

You know, I've never tried to read those. Have them, just haven't gotten to them yet. Have a great weekend! Shari (My Neurotic Book Affair) http://myneuroticbookaffair.blogspot.com/2011/07/friday-fun-and-following.html
ReplyDeleteInteresting choice. I read it and I liked the idea, but the language was a little difficult to understand. I never even get past the second half of book two.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!

ReplyDeleteThe Fellowship of the Ring is not the best book in the series but it is needed to understand everything that happens later.

Have a good weekend.
Hi, hon - tagging along on the 18 & Over. Have a fabulous weekend! Lord of the Rings could definitely have been paced a bit better, but I still enjoyed it.

I never read the LOTR books. I couldn't even get into the movies. They just weren't my thing I guess.

Have a GREAT weekend!!

Cruising on by with the 18 & Over.
ReplyDeleteBelinda by Anne Rice is the worst book I ever read. Really young gal (still a minor) and a guy old enough to be her grandfather who happens to illustrate children's books. Yep, really creepy & it was tagged erotic.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower hopping by to say hello. I've never been interested in LOTR books or movie.

I will agree with you! I tried to read it countless times over the years and I can't get more then a third of the way through it each time. I find it boring!

I still haven't read Lord of the Rings. I think I'm not going to like it, but I feel like it's one of those things you just have to read -- especially since I'm a fantasy fan.

I'm not a fan of that book either. Hi! Just stopping by. Following you from Feature & Follow My Book Blog Friday. Would love a visit and a follow back on my blog: http://blog.writerslairbooks.com. Thanks! Nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I still haven't finished the LOTR books. I like them, but they're complex and hard to get through.
