The story:

Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she'll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers.

But when she violates her masters' laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything— including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

The view of a book addict:

NO! That was the first thing I thought when I read the last page of this book. Why this cliffhanger, I need to know what happens next. I loved this book, it took me on a trip to a new world and I couldn’t wait to turn another page and start reading more about it.
Just like the two main characters you learn more about their lives as the story unfolds. Calla thinks she knows everything there is to know about her life and her destiny but she is wrong. Together with Shay she discovers a lot of secrtets.

The verdict of a book addict:

A great read, you just have to turn the page to know what’s going to happen next. If you like a good book about werewolves than this is your book!

  3. I definitely agree on the cliffhanger. So not fair. But one thing that really bugged me about this book was how Calla was treating Rent throughout. Sure, he's made mistakes in his past, but he seemed to genuinely like Calla and she just rejected him for no particular reason.

I also didn't like Shay in this as much as I did in the prequel for some reason. I just found him to be a bit cocky and overstepping boundaries.

But I am looking forward to the next book!

  4. I agree, I didn't realy like Shay either and Ren does seem to really care about Calla. We'll just have to wait until we can read the next book. Maybe our opinion about them will change haha
