First I have to admit that I read the book in dutch, so the title for me was  “schitterend kwaad”. As a reader of fantasy in every form I Love to read something completely diffrent from time to time. And this is a book that’s been on my to read list for a very long time. I finally decided to pick it up and I’m not sorry I did.
The story is so gripping from the first line to the last, you get sucked into the story and I just had to keep turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next. I loved the storyline, it was sad but the way it was written was really beautiful.

A great book, I think this is a book that really deserves a chance to be read because it’s really beautiful.

When I got the request to read this book, I really wanted to read it but I never imagined that it would be this good! The story just sucked me in and as I read the last line of the book I wanted to cry out that it couldn’t end like this.

I love the writing style and although I sometimes hated the main character because of the way she acted it never made me hate the book. The story is just really amazing and as I said before it just sucks you in.

I just love this series, so I really wanted to know how the story would continue. Merit is one of my favourite vampires and I just love how Chloe Neill portrays her. This story was really good if you ask me, the things that happened in this book are really surprising.
I didn’t know who was behind all the magic in the book right until the end. When the other characters in the book found out who did it. So that’s a great thing about this book, you don’t know right away what’s going on and who did what.

When I got the request to review this book I didn’t doubt to say yes. The story just spoke to me. And I’m glad to tell you that the book didn’t dissapoint me, I had to struggle a little to get into the book but once you get it it a really great story.
You get a chance to meet a lot of characters, but it’s never confusing. I loved the storyline it was something I  haven’t read before. The story is well written and it explains everything you might not understand. That’s what I love most about this book. In a lot of fantasy novels they have special names for things or creatures but never really explain them. This book explains them in the story, because the main character has to learn a lot herself.

I could describe this book in one sentence but I’m not going to do that. I’ve been a fan of this series from the first book and I can’t wait to read the next book everytime it comes out. So this book wasn’t an exception. Being a history geek the whole storyline spoke to me. I really loved it, the whole ghost thing.
I just love the way the characters of these series are portrayed in this series. You can’t help but love them. And you can’t help but hate the enemies of the main characters, they are just evil!

So first of all let me tell you that I love everything Lisa writes. So when I found out that she publiced a book with short stories I just had to read it. And just as I suspected she didn’t dissapoint me.
Some of the stories are beautiful, some are surprising and some are just really scary. I just know that some of the stories I’ve read will haunt me at nigt and keep me scared of the dark shadows. While others made me cry because they had such a beautiful and lovely ending. Once again I can’t help but just fall in love with the Lisa’s writing style.

I loved the first book in this series, the whole vampire story and the fact that it was set in England. So I was really looking forward to the second book and I have to say it did not dissapoint me.
I really liked this story as well, I just couldn’t put the book down and I wanted to know how it would end. The ending makes me want to read more about what’s going to happen next.

Let me start by saying that I love the writing style of this book, it’s just amazing. You have to get used to it the first couple of pages but once you are it’s beautiful. I was really looking forward to reading this book because I believed it would be an amazing book. And it was, it’s a great story that grips you and just spits you out at the end of the book.
After reading the last page you can’t help but wonder what’s going to happen in the next book, I loved the characters, all of them even the bad ones. You get a little glimpse of all of them in this book and of course you get the chance to get to know the main characters of the book.

This was a great book, I finished it so fast because I just couldn’t put it down. The story just takes you right into the world Kiersten created. You want to know everything about the world and everyone living in it.
Just like the main character you keep wondering what she is and what’s going to happen next. And of course you can’t help but fall for “Water boy”. The story is scary and fun at the same time and moves along in a fast pace.

I really liked this book, it’s a fast read! You just get into the story right away and the fact that the chapters are short makes you go through the book faster.
I really liked the story, although at one point you can predict what’s going to happen it’s still a good book to read. You still want to know what’s going to happen next. The characters are easily loved or hated depends on the role they play in the story.

I can’t help the fact that I’m in love with the brotherhood, they just had me from the first book. But this book was a little less exciting than the rest. I missed the action the other books had but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like the book.
What I like most about the books is that you get the chance to learn more about one of the brothers but still get the chance to see what’s happening with the other ones.

I’m a huge Supernatural fan so I just had to read this book. After putting it in my basket en taking it out again a couple of times I finally decided to buy the book. And I’m glad I bought it because it was a nice and light read for a change.
I really liked the concept of the book. Although it’s a bit messy it really captured me and I was curious about what I would find in this book.

At first I didn’t know what to think about this book, because this story is so different from the Wicca series. The main character of this book isn’t someone I would be friends with at least not the girl in the beginning. She is a spoiled rich kid, but as the story goes on I got a bit more sympathy for her.
I loved the way this story has been told, you get to know the person as well as her past. The way the book is written you get the feeling that you’re living the life of the main character and I love that way of storytelling.

Just like the first book I loved the characters in this one, the old ones and the new ones. They all bring something to the story and they all keep you guessing about their motives. I really like Riley she is one of my favorite characters in a book. I can’t wait to read what’s going to happen next.

I’ve been in love with Patch from the first time I’ve read about him, and after the cliffhanger in the last book I couldn’t wait to read this book. So I was almost jumping up and down when it came in the mail.
The book didn’t disappoint me, it’s everything I thought it would be and more. I’m even more in love with Patch after reading this book. The story is heartbreaking and has so many exciting moments, it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. I can only hope there will be another book about these great characters!

I requested this book on Netgalley, the story just spoke to me. It took some time but eventually I got it. I loved every page of this story, it’s exciting, there is romance, there is a handsome vampire so what more could a girl wish for?
The story moves along in a fast pace and is viewed from the point of the two main characters. Because of this I believe you do get the full story, because you know how both characters feel throughout the book.

I can describe this book in one word: Wow! I’ve been a zombie fan ever since I read The forest of hands and teeth. When I found this book I knew I had to read it but it took me some time to start reading it.
But once I started it , it was so hard to put this book down! It has everything a good book needs and I haven’t read a zombie book that was this exciting before. The story is easy to follow and it moves in a fast pace. You just have to love the characters of the book and they way the zombies are created is amazing!

My best friend told me I had to read this book, because she read it and loved it so much! So I listened to her and started reading it, I loved it! It’s such a wonderful story, a story I’ve never read before. Between all the book about vampires and werwolves this story was a breeze of fresh air.
I loved the romance in this book, but I also loved the action in it. For me it was the perfect combination and it was hard for me to put this book down.

The view of a book addict:


I loved this book, being a member of the street team for this book I couldn’t wait to read it and I wasn’t dissapointed. The only time I was dissapointed was when I read the last page of the book because I want to read more!

I fell in love with Kate for being such a wonderful character and I fell in love with Calisto for being himself. I just couldn’t put the book down, but I had to because I had to work. The story just captured me from the first line, and it wouldn’t let me rest until I read the last sentence. And even now I can’t get the book out of my head because of the amazing ending that tells me that there is more in store for Kate and  Calisto. I caught myself screaming at my e-reader when the book became exciting and I was on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t help myself and fear for Kate and pray she wouldn’t die.

This story just keeps you on the edge of your seat and praying you find someone like Calisto. An amazing book by an amazing author! The only thing I can do now is wait for the next book to come out! If you ask me this book is one of the best books that came out this year!

The story:


Nightwolves Coalition starts the tale of Catrina who flies to New York to be with her mates of which there are three (Demitri, Andre and Antonio Caberelli). On the way there is an attempted hi-jacking and Catrina steps up to save the passengers from the takeover. In doing so, she exposes herself as a vampire to Special Forces. Now she must clean up her mess and make a deal with the military. 

The military had been having problems completing missions successfully due to very unusual things happening in the field. Catrina and her team may be their answer. However, the military finds the reasons why things have been going strange on missions. It's the beginning of high adventure and unusual situations even Special Forces may be challenged to overcome

I loved this book, the story was great and it really kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved the way you get the chance to get to know the main character. After reading this book you really know her.
As I said before it’s a great story, the main character kicks butt and I love a great heroine. It’s great to read another view on vampires, one that isn’t standard but I loved it.
